What fits what - getting the right wheels for your bike With the proliferation of custom wheels, frames, brakes and front ends, getting the right wheel is an important consideration. This guide is keyed to Original Equipment specifications for wheel hubs. In addition, extreme care must be exercised when installing wheels of different sizes than originally came on the motorcycle. Wider rims require careful checking for fender, frame, and chain or belt clearance throughout the range of suspension travel. For instance, installing the same tire on a wider rim can change the width of the tire at its widest point causing interference. The applications merely identify the specifications for the wheel hubs, and do not necessarily indicate they will fit any specific model or configuration.
- Models from 2000 to present require the use of brake rotors and drive pulleys with 2.215" I.D. centers, or use our matching universal RevTech® Brake Rotors
- Replacement valve stem is CCI #17734 (sold each)
- Models from 1984 thru 1999 require the use of brake rotors and drive pulleys or sprockets with 1.980" I.D. centers, or use our matching universal RevTech® Brake Rotors
- Hub kits come complete with sealed bearings pre-installed, hub bearing spacers and mounting hardware
- All hub bolts must have high-strength threadlocker (included) applied to each bolt thread, and must be torqued to 55 ft.-lbs. in a criss-cross pattern
Single sided hubs are intended for use in applications where the belt pulley/sprocket and the brake rotor and caliper are on the same side of the motorcycle
